8-Day Tanzania Classic Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met by your Terra Safaris guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy dinner and a briefing for your upcoming adventure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephant population and massive baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive in this scenic park, especially rich in wildlife during the dry season (June–October).

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

Head to Lake Manyara, a compact park set between the Great Rift Valley wall and the lake itself. Look out for tree-climbing lions, large baboon troops, and colorful flamingos. After the game drive, proceed to Karatu for overnight.

Day 4: Karatu to Central Serengeti (via Ngorongoro)

After breakfast, journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park. Pass through highland forests and descend onto the Serengeti plains. Game drive en route to your camp in Central Serengeti, renowned for big cats and endless plains.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti

Spend a full day exploring Central Serengeti’s Seronera Valley, famous for its year-round predator activity and abundant wildlife. Lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, and elephants are commonly seen here.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti, then drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands. Optional visit to a Maasai village along the way. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in time for sunset views over the caldera.

Day 7: Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Karatu

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular half-day game drive. Spot lions, elephants, rhinos, hyenas, and hippos in this natural sanctuary. After lunch, ascend and return to your lodge in Karatu for the night.

Day 8: Karatu to Arusha – Departure

After a relaxed breakfast, drive back to Arusha for shopping or day room use (optional), then transfer to the airport for your international flight.

• Accommodation: Not included (can be arranged)
