Day-by-Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arusha to Central Serengeti
You will depart early from Arusha, driving through the Ngorongoro Highlands with sweeping views over the Rift Valley. Along the way, you’ll pass Maasai villages and herds of livestock grazing along the crater rim. Upon entering Serengeti National Park, you’ll enjoy your first game drive en route to your lodge. Depending on the season, wildlife sightings may include lions, elephants, buffalo, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. Arrive at your camp or lodge in time for sunset.

Day 2: Full Day in Central Serengeti
Enjoy a full day exploring the central region of the Serengeti, known for its year-round wildlife activity. Early morning and late afternoon game drives are ideal for catching predators in action, while mid-day offers a chance to observe grazing herds and birdlife. The Seronera Valley is rich in water sources and a hotspot for predator-prey interaction. You’ll return to camp in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and stargazing around the campfire.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive as you slowly exit the Serengeti and head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This drive is part of the adventure, often presenting unexpected wildlife sightings along the way. You’ll arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in the late afternoon. The cooler highland climate and views into the caldera provide a dramatic change in scenery.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive – Return to Arusha
Rise early for a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most stunning and wildlife-rich landscapes. The floor of the crater hosts an incredible concentration of animals, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, and more. After a half-day game drive and picnic lunch near a hippo pool, you’ll ascend the crater wall and begin your return to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon or early evening.
Distance: 3–4 hours game drive + 4–5 hours to Arusha
